Verico International Co., Ltd. Warranty Statement
This warranty is provided by Verico International Co,. Ltd (“Verico”) is subject to the conditions set forth herein, within the limited warranty duration clearly printed on each product package. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, Verico will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. Repaired parts or replacement products will be provided by Verico on an exchange basis, and will be either new or recertified. All recertified products have been tested to ensure that they are functionally equivalent to new products. If Verico is unable to repair or replace the product, Verico will replace the product of similar functions for the consumer’s product at the time the warranty claim is made. The decision made by Verico shall be final and binding upon consumers.
This limited warranty does not cover any damage to this product that results from improper installation, accident, abuse, misuse, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification.
Verico is not liable for, and does not cover under warranty, any loss of data or any costs associated with determining the source of system problems or removing, servicing or installing Verico products. This warranty excludes 3rd party software, connected equipment or stored data. In the event of a claim, Verico’s sole obligation shall be replacement of the hardware.
From 1st January 2011, to validate warranty service, please access to www.verico.com.tw/register for registration of your Verico product within 30 days of the purchase date.
Duration of Warranty
Your Verico product is covered by this Warranty under the specified warranty period starting from the Verico online registration successfully completed date. Proof of the successful Verico online registration date is required for warranty service.
Verico USB Drive 5 Years Warranty.
Verico Dram Module 5 Years Warranty
Verico SSD 1 Year Warranty
Verico External HDD 1 Year warranty.
Verico Card Reader 1 Year warranty.
When product warranty stated by Verico differs to that of the consumer’s local government, the warranty period of the product will then be judged according to local government legislation(s).
Warranty Claim Procedures and Requirements
To obtain warranty service, you may return a defective product to the authorized Verico dealer or distributor from which you purchased the Verico product.
Please confirm the terms of your dealer’s or distributor’s return policies prior to returning the product. Typically, you must include product identification information, including model name and model serial number with a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing. You must also include proof of the date of successful Verico online registration as evidence that the product is within the applicable warranty period.
All return items must be sent with freight-prepaid and insured to Verico. Products shipped to Verico’s factory must be properly packaged to prevent damage in transit.
The returned product will become the property of Verico. Repaired or replacement product will be shipped at Verico’s expense. Repaired or replacement product will continue to be covered by this limited warranty for the remainder of the original warranty.
1.VERICO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF ANY PROGRAM OR DATA OF THE FAILURE PRODUCT AND SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DATA RECOVERY OR BACKUP.
2.VERICO SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DEFECT, DAMAGE OR DATA LOST ARISING FROM THE DELIVERY FOR REPAIR/REPLACEMENT. VERICO RECOMMENDS THAT YOU HAVE A BACKUP OF YOUR DATA PRIOR TO CLAIMING WARRANTY SERVICE.
3.TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VERICO DISCLAIMS ANY INFRINGEMENT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST BUSINESS INVESTMENTS, LOST GOODWILL, OR DAMAGES AS A RESULT OF LOST DATA. VERICO SHALL ALSO NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FAILURE OF ANY THIRD PARTY EQUIPMENT, EVEN IF VERICO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
4.VERICO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH OR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES TO PROPERTY ARISING FROM THE PRODUCT USED IN A SITUATION IN WHICH PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH IS LIKELY TO OCCUR, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MEDICAL OR MEDICAL-RELATED EQUIPMENT, MILITARY OR MILITARY-RELATED EQUIPMENT, TRAFFIC CONTROL EQUIPMENT, AIRCRAFT, NUCLEAR ENERGY SYSTEM, CONBUSTION CONTROL SYSTEM, AND DISASTER PREVENTION SYSTEMS.
